Developed in the TIERRA design office with Steven Postmus as project and site architect, Twinpalms Residences were developed as an extension to the existing Twinpalm hotel designed by TIERRA in Surin Phuket, Thailand.
The architectural scope included developing a series of two level hotel suites , light wells, lobby and social amenities within an integrated landscape.
The new landscape setting for the new hotel residences included two formal entrances, link bridges, roof pools + garden terraces, feature stone walls, swimming pools, balcony terrace gardens and 15 private gardens. The landscape was envisaged as a series of green curtains; a 50m long veil to each of the circulation corridors, plantings filtering as unit privacy and providing a luminescent green backdropto distant views from the existing hotel.
