The brief from the client was to provide a master plan for a the site(s) which they could use in negotiations with the City of Melville and WAPC to increase the zoning of the subject site which was adjacent to sites earmarked by the authorities for increased zoning.
Targeted as a Lifestyle Village (Over 55’s), the master plan proposal included over 1000sqm of commercial space (cafes, consulting rooms, shops, offices), 151 residential units. A pool, gym, day spa facilities and bowling greens and integrated landscaped and communal areas provide a high level of amenity for the scheme.
The proposal sought to maximise important views to as many apartments as possible whilst maintaining efficient built form.
